Christmas Parade in Swansea

Who said that Santa Claus should arrive exactly on Christmas Eve? Well, in Swansea he arrived tonight together with some of his friends and children’s all times favorite characters, like Santa’s elves, dancing reindeers, Peter Pan, Beautiful Belle, Cinderela, Snow-White, the Welsh Dragon, walking presents and so on. And lots of performing art groups.

Hundreds maybe thousands lined up in the street at least around 4pm to see the Christmas Parade. Looks like somehow Santa Claus found out the this year Swansea celebrated its 50th anniversary and wanted to make up for not being present a month ago when that happened. Nice of him. And nice of City Council who spend a lot of money for this wonderful Parade. Children especially were extremely excited about Santa coming to visit the town.

Christmas Parade started in Wind Street about 5 pm and ended in triumph in The Kingsway. The atmosphere was purely magic and you could feel again like an innocent child who still thinks that Santa really knows whether or not he was nice the whole year.
